Description: Philatelic Bureau, Panaji Head Post office is itself a heritage building. Panaji is situated on the banks of the river Mandovi. Previously it was by an order in the year 1843, and its status was raised to a city. Now it became the capital of Goa and was called Nova Goa. The PPC depicts the Goan natural heritage. It shows the image of the Gaur(Indian Bison) as the state animal of Goa. Since 1986, the Indian bison or gaur has been listed as 'vulnerable IUCN Red List. 

Striped grey mullet is a species of mullet in the Mugilidae family under the order Mugiliformes. It is commonly found in the coastal waters of the South and North Goa. Mullets a one of the fish groups. The Striped grey mullet locally known as Shevto is declared as a State Fish of Goa.

Cashew fruit & nut Cashew was introduced by the Portuguese, reaching the Indian coastal state of Goa around the 16th century, and from there it spread throughout Southeast Asia and Africa. It is the major economic influence in the life of Goa.
