Appanacharva's dedication to the Gurukul earned him recognition as a nurturing educator, and he transformed his home into a revered space where Raghavendra Swami performed rituals dedicated to Sri Moola Rama Devary, including resting in the central hall. As an appreciation for Appanacharya's devoted service, Raghavendra Swami gifted him 12 acres of land in Kaldakuntla, located approximately 12 km from Mantralava. In honour of his revered Guru, Appanacharya composed the Raghavendra Stotra, a Sanskrit hymn beginning with "Sri Pooivaya Raghavendraya". This beautiful hymn consists of 32 verses and is recited as a community prayer by Raghavendraya" Raghavendra Swami's devotees in Mantralaya. Following the passing of Raghavendra Swami, who entered voluntary samadhi, Appanacharva constructed a Brindavana. This memorial is characterized by a striking monolithic stone (ekashile), serving as a lasting tribute to their spiritual legacy.
