The divine energy of the Goddess is worshipped along with Shivalinga. She is considered to be the main deity. The water of the nearby Souparnika River is considered holy here and it is mandatory to take a dip in it before entering the temple. The history of this temple becomes even stronger with the importance of Swayambhulinga. It says that the Lord pulled the Srichakra with the help of his toe. The important thing here is that the Goddess has evolved with the help of this Linga and is known to fulfil the wishes of the devotees. There is a golden line on the left side of the Linga which has become wide. This temple has emerged as a Hindu religious Siddha Kshetra all over the world today.
