Description: The statue of Bahubali is one of the four giant monolith statues found on the state of Karnataka. The statue is 35 ft hight and laid in a place called Venur. Venur is a small town in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka State situated on the bank of river Gurupura. It was once a great seat of Jainism and capital of the Ajila Dynesty. The statue of Bahubali was built by Thimmanna Ajila in 1604 AD.
