Description: On the occasion of Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, UP, DOP has released a PPC Dated 22.01.2024 in which the Image of the Temple is depicted. 

Chief Architects of temple Chandrakant, Nikhil and Ashish Sompura. Design Advised by IITs Guwahati, Chennai and Bombay, NIT Surat, Central Building Research Institute Roorkee, National Geo Research Institute Hyderabad, and the National Institute of Rock Mechanics. Construction and Management made by Larsen and Toubro. The main Sculptors are Arun Yogiraaj, Ganesh Bhatt and Satyanarayan Pandey. The total land area is 70 Acres of which 70% of green Area. Temple Area - 2.77 Acre with Dimensions of L 380 Ft.x W 250 Ft. H 161 Ft. This grand temple has been built in Nagar style. This temple is three-storeyed and the height of each floor is 20 feet. It has a total of 392 pillars and 44 gates. The main idol in the Garbhagrah is the child form of Lord Shri Ram and on the first floor is Shri Ram Darbar. 

It has 5 pavilions known as dance, auditorium, assembly, prayer and kirtan pavilion. The main entrance to the temple will be from the east, by climbing 32 steps from Singhdwar, with separate entrances for the disabled and the elderly. No metals have been used in the construction of the temple, there is no concrete above ground, and the foundation is made of 14-meter thick roller compacted concrete. Which has been given the form of artificial rock. To protect it from the moisture of the earth, a 21-foot-high platform has been made of granite, A time capsule has been placed approximately 2,000 feet below the ground, right underneath the temple. The capsule contains a copper plate inscribed with relevant information regarding the Ram Mandir, Lord Rama, and Ayodhya.
