Description: A permanent Pictorial Cancellation of Prithviraj Chouhan is a replica of his picture highlighting the historical importance of his rule in Ajmer. Prithviraj Chauhan, was the son of Someshwar Chauhan, the king of Ajmer and was last ruler of the Chauhan Dynasty. He ruled most of Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi and some parts of Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh from the period 1178-1192. His capital was located at Ajaymeru (modern Ajmer). A true Rajput by nature, Prithviraj expanded his empire mainly towards northwest India. It is believed that he was sharp and brilliant at all military skills and mastered the skills of aiming the target on the basis of its sound, known as the "shabdbhedi" technique.
