The Chaturmukh Jain Temple is a magnificent temple of the first Jain Tirthankar Lord Rishabhdevji /Adinathji situated in solitude on the banks of the Maghai River in the middle of the charming valley of Aravali. Situated on a high platform, this three-storey marble building, which has been given an excellent artistic shape by the talent of the artist, is an example of India's cultural heritage and unique architecture. This temple was built by Rana Kumbha's minister Dharan Shah with the blessings of Acharya Somsundr Suriji by an architect named Depak. Construction of the temple started in 1446 AD.

The construction of the temple was completed in 1496 AD. At that time, about ninety-nine lakh rupees were spent on the construction of the temple. The temple has four artistic entrances. There are four huge white marble statues of Lord Adinath in the main chamber or sanctum sanctorum of the temple. Which are about 6 feet high, and have been installed facing four directions. Four similar Jain statues are also installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the second and third floors. It has 76 small dome-shaped temples, 4 Rangmandap, 4 main temples, and a total of 84 Jain Tirthankaras situated in four directions enhancing the beauty of the temple. 1444 pillars decorated with fine carvings are the biggest feature of this temple. Whichever direction you look in, you see only pillars. The architect has arranged them in such a way that none of them obstructs the vision of the pilgrims who wish to see the Lord.
