Its special thing is that it is the tallest building built without any foundation in the world. Hawa Mahal means Palace of Wind which was built to allow fresh air to enter the palace through these windows. Hawa Mahal was a special place for the royal family to seek respite during the hot summer days, as the cool breeze coming from the windows kept the entire building cool. Hawa Mahal gets its name from the fifth floor here which is called Hawa Mandir. There are no stairs in this building with the help of which one can reach its roof. To reach all the floors of this building, one has to go through a sloping path. A large and grand door has been built behind this building, through which you can enter the palace. There is no front entry here. Apart from this, there is also a small museum inside Hawa Mahal, in which you will get to see many historical things. The magnificent pink building of the Pink City Jaipur is called Hawa Mahal.
