Description: The Indian rhinoceros is also called the one-horned rhinoceros. Its have thick brown skin folds over the shoulders, back and tail, giving it an armoured appearance. In this area, a town named Mal or Malbazar in the famous Gorumara National Park, Jaldapara National Park, Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary, Jhalong, Bindu, Samsing Suntalekhola etc. The Jaldapara National Park is a treasure trove of wildlife and is home to one-horned rhinoceros, which is considered to be the second largest after Kaziranga National Park. This national park is spread over an area of ​​216 sq km, which is an ideal place for these rhinos. It is also known primarily for its population of the endangered one-horned rhinoceros.
